At the Chapel of Saints, one can take a respite from the noise of the modern world to commune with God’s helpers. Located within the Redemptorist Compound in Iloilo City, it is a place of refreshing for the soul.
Grateful
Earlier today, I read the book “Messy Grace of Parenting”. As is what is usual with me when I get caught up in a good book, tears were flowing down my cheeks. The author’s words resonated with me. This is a beautiful season I am in. I have a loving husband and two equally adorable sons who think the world of me. I pray that as the author Laura Kelly Fanucci prays for her children, “may God who has begun the good work in you bring it to fulfillment.”
Ethan Gerard and Elijah Benedict, I am honored to be your mother. Indeed, in the words of the author I am thankful for the reminder that my calling as a mother is to introduce you to the wide world and the God who created it, so that I can help each of you learn how you are called in turn. Called to take your place, to share your gifts, to serve in the ways you will be shown.
Thank you dear Lord for this day, for the moments with my family. Thank you for the privilege of motherhood that you bestowed on me. I love you very much and thank you for Your faithfulness.
